Our History

Our history includes the person who just stumbled onto our website and the casual reader who just joined us on Facebook. Our history includes the writer working fervishly to meet tomorrow’s deadline and the editor reviewing and scrutinizing submissions. Our history includes the webmaster checking links and watching search engine rankings, the graphic designer setting up the layout for our next issue, and the sales rep pounding the pavement to get advertisements in place.

All histories are written by the passage of time, but where did The Constitutionalist Today begin?

Perhaps you could point to our first issue, published in February 2010, as our genesis; perhaps our website, launched in November of 2009. Indeed, the Board of Directors first convened on the 9th of November, 2009, and our business was registered with the state of Colorado a few days previously. In the weeks before, it was the vision of a few that led to excited networking and planning, and it was the momentum of angry Americans through the summer of 2009 that gave rise to this vision.

Our history goes back further still, before even the births of our staff and the births of their parents and grandparents. Our publication was predestined by the progressivism that snuck into our nation’s politics, virtually undetected, in the early 20th century; a virus that would spread slowly, picking up momentum, until it ravaged all but the principles and values held deeply within the heart every red-blooded American.

Our history is our nation’s history. It encompasses every campaign run, every vote cast, every judgment rendered, and every war waged. Our heritage is that of a constitutional republic, guaranteed freedoms bequeathed by a group of wise, God-fearing men. Our heritage is that of hard-won independence from tyranny.

Our history is the history of “We the People!” Join us as we continue to write it.
