Who We Are

Put simply, we are “We the People!” We are simple and ordinary, average Joes and Janes all. We are God-fearing. We are patriots. We are Constitutionalists! You, our readers, are Constitutionalists too—this newspaper belongs to you and Americans from coast to coast!

Like many of you, we stood by as the country we knew and loved was quietly and methodically subverted. We were concerned on occasion, when we noticed, but trusted that America would find her way. As the subversion grew louder and more blatant, we took more frequent notice; our concern bloomed into full-on disbelief, then outrage.

Feeling as if we were without representation, our frustrations gave way to hopelessness. After all, we reasoned, “what can I do?”

The answer came, of course, as our collective righteous anger steadily grew; grassroots were set ablaze as we coalesced into groups like the TEA Party and the 912 Project. Our peaceful demonstrations and swelling ranks have been ignored by those in power and ridiculed by the media, but we soldier on.

We hold certain principles dear, believe that our founding fathers built them directly into America’s foundations, and refuse to stand by quietly any longer as they are deliberately and disgracefully torn from under us.

As we take our rally signs home and comfort ourselves by donating to our favorite think tank and watching the polls trend favorably, we continue to ask ourselves a question, this time: “What more can I do?”

We at The Constitutionalist Today believe that we’ve found that answer for ourselves: to proliferate the values and ideals that made America the great nation it once was and to report on what is exposed when we shine the light of these truths onto our government at every level. We will give voices to those Constitutionalists without one, discover Constitutionalists who don’t yet realize what they are, and create Constitutionalists out of the cynical, the skeptical, and the misinformed. We will work voraciously and tirelessly until we see our country returned to the God-inspired, constitutional republic it was founded as!

I don’t know where the tipping point is, but I’m going as hard and as fast as I possibly can. Unfortunately, so is America’s adversaries. I know that websites like the Huffington Post put things, you know, on the Internet. Well, you know what? My friend, it is time that you do the same. It is time for you to mobilize. It is time for you to realize that you are an extremist. Um. You’re Ben Franklin. You know, he was printing extremist material on a printing press. Oh, yeah. Samuel Adams did the same thing. They used a little something called the newspaper, when the newspapers were against the government, because they knew the government was full of corrupt officials. At the White House the New York Times and the rest of the media, they’ll paint you as a kook, as an extremist. I don’t care. I’ll stand with those revolutionaries, Thomas Paine, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson. It’s time we moved past the nonsense. I’m trying, but for the most part, I feel pretty alone in the media and I need your help to get the message out.
